On March 10, the 1st issue of the journal Economic Policy is available for readers. The bimonthly Economic Policy is an academic peer-reviewed bimonthly established by the Gaidar Institute of Economic Policy and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. It has been published since 2006.

On March 5, 2025, the library of the Gaidar Institute and the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences (Shaninka) hosted presentation of the new book by a renowned Russian economist, former Minister of Economic Development Alexey Ulyukaev "World Reserve Currencies: The Dollar and Its Rivals". The book, published by the Gaidar Institute Publishing House, is an in-depth analysis of the current state of the world’s financial systems and the prospects for reserve currencies.

On February 27, 2025, a meeting of the Scientific and Expert Council of the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences on management challenges was held on the issue "Companies with state participation in the modern economy: current realities and management practices." During the event, reports on the functioning of such companies in the CIS, BRICS, OECD, etc. were reviewed.

On February 15, 2024, a meeting of the Academic Council was held at  Gaidar Institute. The main agenda of the event was Ph.D. completion seminar of the research "Robust Inference in Non-Stationary Time Series" by Anton Skrobotov, Senior Researcher at the Short-Term Forecasting Department of the Center for Institutional Development, Ownership and Corporate Governance.

On July 22, 2021, an online meeting of the Academic Board of the Gaidar Institute was held, during which Candidate of Economic Sciences, Director of the Center for Institutions Analysis and Financial Markets of the RANEPA IAES Alexander Abramov presented his study “The Stock Market through the Prism of Capitalization and the Role of the State in the Economy: Long-Term Trends in 1880–2020”.
