"FoSER" Foundation

General Information

The endowment capital formation fund ‘Foundation for Social and Economic Research’ (abbreviated institutional name: FoSER; institutional name in the English language: Foundation for Social and Economic Research) is a nonprofit organization, its organizational legal form being foundation (hereinafter referred to as Foundation). The endowment capital formation fund was established by the Ye. T. Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy Foundation on 28 May 2012, and registered as a legal entity on 19 July 2012.

The Foundation is a specialized organization for endowment capital management, established exclusively for the purposes of endowment capital formation, and the use and distribution of income generated by endowment capital for the benefit of other recipients of income from endowment capital in the procedure envisaged by the Foundation's Charter.

Endowment capital may be formed, and the income generated by endowment capital may be used by the Foundation for the purposes of funding in the fields of education, science, culture and social aid (or support), as well as in the archival field.

The supreme administrative body of the Foundation is the Board of the Foundation. The Board of the Foundation consists of the following elected members: P.V. Trunin (Chairman of the Board), S.V. Prikhodko, S.M. Drobyshevsky.

The body within the Foundation responsible for supervising its activity is the Board of Guardians of the Foundation. The Board of Guardians of the Foundation also performs the functions of a council responsible for the use of endowment capital. The elected members of the Board of Guardians of the Foundation are E.S. Ershova, A.D. Radygin, F.K. Sadygov, K.V. Yudaeva.

The day-to-day management of the Foundation is executed by Director of the Foundation S.M. Drobyshevsky.
