Conferences, seminars, round tables

On April 18-19, Gaidar Readings "Russia and Armenia: Lessons of the Reform" were held in Erevan.

From January 16 to 19, 2013 in the framework of the Gaidar Forum 2013 there was held a traditional international research and practical conference "Russia and the World", arranged by Gaidar Institute, Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and Yegor Gaidar Foundation.

During the 4th final day of the conference the Youth Forum "Russia and World" was held.

On November 2, 2012, a seminar dedicated to revitalization of the investment process in the real sector and evaluation of the structure of financing sources for that purpose was held at the Gaidar Institute. Olga Berezinskaya, Researcher of the Structural Research Center of the Gaidar Institute delivered a report on that issue.

On October 25-26, 2012, the Gaidar Institute and the Gaidar Fund held the Gaidar Readings in Kaliningrad on the issue: Problems and Prospects of the Social and Economic Development of Border Regions: Experience of Russia's North-West and its Close Neighbors.

Of 15 October 2012, the Agricultural Policy Department of the Gaidar Institute held a workshop on the ways to estimate budget expenditures and government support of agriculture.

 

On September 28,  2012, Vladimir Nazarov, Head of the Budget Federalism Department  of the Gaidar Institute took part in the scientific seminar dedicated to forecasting of development of the pension system in the Russian Federation.

On July 17, 2012, the Seminar: Foreign Experience and Reform of Social Support of Low-Income People in Russia was held at the Gaidar Institute. The main report was delivered by Svetlana Misikhina, Leading Researcher of the Gaidar Institute.

On June 28, 2012, a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the forthcoming inclusion of ambulance service in the mandatory medical insurance system (MMI) was held at the Gaidar Institute. The conference was attended by employees of the Gaidar Institute and RANEPA, representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Federal Fund of MMI, Territorial Funds of MMI and head doctors of ambulance service stations of a number of Russian regions.

Brazil - Russia Dialogue: Economic Policy Challenges, an international workshop on exchange of experience organized by the Gaidar Institute and RANEPA together with ESAF School of Public Finance Management under the Ministry of Finance of Brazil was held on June 26-27, 2012.

On June 14, 2012, a scientific seminar on the long-term scenarios of development of the pension system was held at the Gaidar Institute.

On June 9, 2012, Irina Starodubrovskaya, PhD (Economics), Director for the Center for Political Economy and Regional Development spoke at the round table: The Vector of the Russian Policy in the North Caucasus which was held within the frameworks of the 2nd Dagestan Economic Forum in Makhachkala.

 

On May 14, 2012, in Ulan-Ude (the Republic of Buryatia) the Gaidar Readings dedicated to the issue of microfinancing in the Russian Federation were held.

On April 12-13, 2012, in the city of Pyatigorsk the Gaidar Readings dedicated to challenges and the potential of development of North Caucasus were held.

On 6 April 2012, Sergey Drobyshevsky, Director of the Center for Macroeconomics and Finance of the Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy, took part in the meeting of the students and faculty of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration with the authors of the renewed program Strategy 2020.
