On 23 October 2015,  Gaidar Readings – “Exploring the Present, Look into the Future” – dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Gaidar Institute was held in Moscow.

On 25 September, the Gaidar Readings: “The New Rules and Mechanisms of Development of Russia’s Far East: Effective Practices of States of the Asia-Pacific Region and the Historic Background of the Economy of the Region” took place in Vladivostok.

On 2 June, regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the Gaidar Institute was held.

On 15 May, International Fiscal Sustainability Department of the Gaidar institute and RANEPA held a seminar in Gaidar Institute.

Gaidar Readings "Prospects for Islamic Banking Development on the Post-Soviet Area" were held in the city of Baku (Azerbaijan) on 17 April 2015.

On 15 April, the Discussion Club Academia held its regular at the Gaidar Institute.

On 12 March, the city of Nizhny Novgorod hosted Gaidar Readings titled Current Economic Policy Challenges and the Banking Sector's Development at the Federal and Regional Level (As Exemplified by Banks in the Volga Federal District).

On January 14–16, 2015, within the frameworks of the Gaidar Forum the international conference – Russia and the World: a New Vector – will be held.

On 12 - 16 January 2015, the International Fiscal Sustainability Department of the Gaidar Institute and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) (headed by Professor of Economics at Boston University Laurence J. Kotlikoff) held a series of scientific seminars at the Gaidar Institute, dedicated to the issues associated with the creation of general equilibrium models.

On 19 December, the Discussion Club Academia held its first meeting, where the challenges faced by Russia's national economy in 2015 were discussed.

On December 18-19, 2014, the Final Gaidar Readings-2014 dedicated to the treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union which becomes effective from January1, 2015 were held.

On December 12-13, 2014, the 2nd International Conference on Political Demography and Macrosocial Dynamics "Global Aging of the Population and the Future of Russia was held. The sponsors of the Conference were the Gaidar Institute and the RANEPA.

On November 11, the Round Table – The Strategic Guidelines for the State Policy in the North Caucasus – was held at the Gaidar Institute within the frameworks of cooperation between the Gaidar Institute and the Committee of Civil Initiatives.

On October 2, 2014,  Gaidar Readings – Development of Regulatory Impact Assessment on the Regional and Municipal Levels – was held in the city of Ulyanovsk.

On June 6, the scientific seminar – Funding Liquidity CAPM: International Evidence – was held at the Gaidar Institute. The above seminar was addressed by Andrea Vedolin, Professor of the London School of Economics.

On June 5, the meeting of the Scientific Council of the Gaidar Institute was held.
