On 5 October, the Gaidar Readings titled ‘Cooperation of Russia and Tajikistan: New Economic Realities and Opportunities’ were held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

On April 28, the regular Gaidar Readings -- “Digital Technologies in Management of the Region” – where held in the city of Arkhangelsk.

March 23, 2018, UFA Gaidar Readings on “Medium-Term Economic Development Agenda: Focus on the Regions” took place in Ufa on March 23, 2018.

On 16–18 January 2018, an international conference titled ‘Russia and the World: Values and Virtues’ was held in Moscow in the framework of the Gaidar Forum 2018.

On September 25, the Gaidar Readings  - “Networking of the Eurasian Economic Union and “One Belt-One Way” Initiatives” – were held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.

On 11 April, Gaidar Readings started in Oryol. The main topic of the readings was “Sustainable Economic Growth: Political and Social Prerequisites”.

On 17 February 2017, Yekaterinburg hosted Gaidar Readings – Regional financial systems amid crysis: Regional budgets and banks of the Urals Federal Okrug – held under the auspices of the Gaidar Institute, the Urals Institute of Administration (a RANEPA branch), and the Yegor Gaidar Fund.

The Gaidar Readings – The Experience of Domestic Market-Oriented Regional Development: Advantages and Disadvantage – sponsored by the Gaidar Institute, the Gaidar Fund and the RANEPA’s Kaluga Branch under the auspices of the Government of the Kaluga Region were held in Kaluga on 5 December.

On 11 November, the Gaidar Readings: Development of Regions and the Economic Policy in Present-Day Conditions were held in Barnaul.

On 17 March, the Gaidar Readings – Regional Banking Sectors amid the Crisis: Outputs of Research in Banks of the North-Eastern Federal District – were held in Veliky Novgorod.

On January 13-15, 2016, within the frameworks of the Gaidar Forum – 2016 the international conference "Russia and the World: Looking to the Future" organized by the Gaidar Institute and the Russian Presidential Academy under the auspices of the Y. Gaidar Fund was held.

On 23 October 2015,  Gaidar Readings – “Exploring the Present, Look into the Future” – dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Gaidar Institute was held in Moscow.

On 25 September, the Gaidar Readings: “The New Rules and Mechanisms of Development of Russia’s Far East: Effective Practices of States of the Asia-Pacific Region and the Historic Background of the Economy of the Region” took place in Vladivostok.

On 2 June, regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the Gaidar Institute was held.
