On March 18, 2026, Maria Girich and Оlga Magomedova, researchers at the Gaidar Institute’s International Best Practices Analysis Department, participated in the 25th International Scientific and Practical Conference Smirnov Readings. On March 21, 2026, in St. Petersburg, Sergey Mikhailovich Drobyshevsky, Doctor of Economics and Principal Researcher at the Gaidar Institute, was honored with the International Leontief Medal “For Contributions to Economic Reform.” This prestigious award was presented for his outstanding contributions to the theory and practice of macroeconomic analysis and forecasting, as well as for his development of key directions in the economic, monetary, fiscal, and tax policies of the Russian Federation.
