In Russia, it was proposed to introduce new payments in favor of single-parent families; this measure envisages a monthly compensation in the amount of at least two minimum subsistence wages per person.  In his interview to the Govorit Moskva Radio Station, Vladimir Nazarov, Deputy Head of the International Department of Healthcare and Healthcare Reforms, Gaidar Institute, said that in calculations it is necessary to take into account the specific parent’s income and property.

The Government has returned to the idea of charging an increased tax rate from the well-off Russians. The authorities consider an option of increasing the individual income tax rate from 13% to 15% for wealthy Russians. Also, it is reported that the increased tax rate may be applied to individuals’ annual income of Rb2-3 million.
