On July 25, a joint seminar of experts of  Gaidar Institute and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development was held in Paris, France. The seminar was dedicated to discussion of the methods of analysis of GDP dynamics applied by the OECD.

On July 22, Mikhail Khromov, Leading Expert of the Structural Research Center of  Gaidar Institute took part in the program: "Spiridonova. Analyst" on the RBK-TV dedicated to the government's economic policy in a new geopolitical situation.

On July 16–18, employees of  Gaidar Institute – Alexander Knobel, Head of the Foreign Trade Department and Bekkhan Chokayev, Senior Researcher – took part in the EcoMod2014 International Conference on Economic Modeling which was held in Bali, Indonesia.

On July 8, 2014, Head of Foreign Trade Department at Gaidar Institute Alexandr Knobel gave an interview to Deutsche Welle on whether Russia might impose further restrictions on imports from Ukraine.

On June 26, the Forbes magazine carried an article by Alexander Knobel, Head of the Department of Foreign Economic Affairs of the Gaidar Institute in which he elaborates on what consequences the economic part of the agreement on association with the EU -- which is due to be signed by Ukraine on June 27 – may have for Russia.

On June 26, the Vedomosti daily carried an article by Alexander Knobel, Head of the Department of Foreign Economic Affairs of the Gaidar Institute dedicated to signing of the agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union.

On June 23, Yuri Kondrashin, Researcher of the Financial Research Department gave an interview to Bankir.ru dedicated to development of the regional banking sector.

On June 9-13, employees of  Gaidar Institute took part in the work of the summer school of the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland).

On June 10, the Forbes magazine carried an article: "Has the Russian Economy Passed the Lowest Point?" by Alexei Vedev, Director of the Structural Research Center and Olga Berezinskaya, Expert of the Structural Research Center. According to the authors, the present growth is related to a higher orientation of the existing production to domestic demand in a situation of low investment activities.

On 5 June Irina Tlmacheva, leading legal advisor, participated in the round table discussion “Registration and Accounting of Not-for-profit Organizations in the wake of the latest changes introduced to the Civil Legislation”, which took place in the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.

On June 1, Vassily Zatsepin, Head of the Economics of the Military-Industrial Sector Department took part as a speaker and participant in the conference  of the International Forum of Economists in Amsterdam (May 30– June 2).
