On May 14, the executive director of  Gaidar Institute Sergei Prikhodko and the leading research assistant of the Institute of Nuclear Energy, former Deputy Minister of Economic Development Alexei Vedev, took part in the 11th Baltic States Forum on the topic "Cooperation of the Baltic Sea Region in Difficult Times" in Turku ).

On April 24, Stepan Zemtsov, Senior Researcher of the Innovation Economics Department of  Gaidar Institute, spoke on “National presentation “High-tech business in the regions of Russia” at the workshop “An updated view on the opportunities of technology transfer for technological entrepreneurs” in the course of international forum “Intellectual property – XXI century” organized by CCI.

In April 2018, International Department of Fiscal Sustainability of  Gaidar Institute and RANEPA under President of the Russian Federation, chaired by Laurence Kotlikoff, Professor of the University of Boston, organized there another series of scientific seminars on construction of a model of general equilibrium.

On April 18, leading researcher of  Gaidar Institute Alexei Vedev took part in a round table of bank analysts, organized by the newspaper Izvestia. The round table discussed risks for the Russian economy, the foreign exchange market, and the prospects for the ruble exchange rate.

On April 23, Senior researcher of  Gaidar Institute Stepan Zemtsov took part in the OTR program on the OTP television channel, which discussed the consequences of automation and robotics for the labor market.

Gaidar Institute has published another annual review "The Russian Economy in 2017. Trends and prospects ".

On April 16, Anna Zolotareva, Director of Center for Legal Studies of  Gaidar Institute, delivered a lecture “Role of judicial decisions among past and present sources of Russian law” at a seminar/meeting of All-Russia Education Trade Union held in St. Petersburg on “Labor legislation, civil legislation, legislation on education.
