Together with their RANEPA colleagues, experts of  Gaidar Institute prepared and submitted to the State Duma Committee on the Budget and Taxes their conclusions on the draft law on The Federal Budget in 2019 and the 2020-2021 Planned Period and federal draft laws on budgets of state extra-budgetary funds.

15 October Head of Financial Studies Department Mikhail Khromov took part in the program “Business Day” on the RBC channel. The topic of the transfer is “Savings: how to save and increase?”.

On 15 October, an international seminar on the main aspects of Russia’s economic development in the mid-term prospect was held at  Gaidar Institute.

On 5 October,  Gaidar Readings titled ‘Cooperation of Russia and Tajikistan: New Economic Realities and Opportunities’ were held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

On October 4, at the plenary discussion ‘Macroeconomic Projection Instruments’ held in the framework of the Efimov Readings, Andrey Polbin delivered his presentation titled ‘Approaches to Making Macroeconomic Projections in Conditions of Structural Shifts’.

On September 28, Andrey Polbin, Head of Macroeconomic Modeling Department, took part in the V international conference “Modern Econometric Tools and Applications – META2018”, held  in the facility of Nizhny Novgorod campus of the National Research University Higher School of Economics on September 27-29, 2018.

Gaidar Institute holds an annual competition for the best research project in economy.

Sergey Drobyshevsky, Scientific Director of  Gaidar Institute, took part in the Think 20 Summit held in Buenos Aires on September 16-18, 2018 under the G20 Argentinian presidency in 2018.
