On January 16, within the framework of  Gaidar Forum – 2019 Alexander Radygin, Head of the Center for Institutional Development, Property and Corporate Governance,  Gaidar Institute and the Institute for Applied Economic Studies, the RANEPA delivered a key report at the expert discussion: “The Scale and Efficiency of the Public Sector”. 

On January 16, within the framework of  Gaidar Forum an expert discussion – “Cryptocurrencies: What Does the Economic Theory Say?” – was held with participation of experts of  Gaidar Institute.

On 15 January, within the framework of  Gaidar Forum-2019 Stepan Zemtsev, Senior Researcher of the Innovation Economy Department, Gaidar Institute presented the National Report: “The Development of High-Tech Business in Russian Regions”.

The results of The competition for the best final qualifying work in 2018 were summed up at the Gaidar Institute. About 250 works of university graduates participated in the competition. The results are posted on the IEP website in the “Competition for the best WRC” section.

On December 20, 2018, the RBK daily carried an article – What Monetary Policy the Central Bank Should Pursue – written by Alexei Vedev, Leading Researcher of the Gaidar Institute in co-authorship with Maxim Osadchy, Head of the Analytical Department, BFK Bank.

On December 18, 2018, in the Opinion section the RBK daily carried an article by Alexander Knobel, Head of the International Trade Department, Gaidar Institute dealing with worsening of the relations between Moscow and Minsk and the prospects of Belarus’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union.

On November 21, Aleksey Vedev, Leading Researcher of the Gaidar Institute, took part in the round table discussion organized by “Banking review” journal and Finversia.ru  portal dedicated to consideration of main trends which will influence on future Russian economy or have already shown themselves at present.
