On September 6, 2019 года, the Gaidar Readings – “The Sustainable Development of the Far Eastern Federal District in Terms of Cooperation with the Asia-Pacific Region” were held in the city of Khabarovsk.

On the 27-30th of August, Stepan Zemtsov, Senior Researcher of the Gaidar Institute took part in the 59th Congress of the European Association of Regional Science, which was held in Lyon (France).

On September, 6 the GAIDAR READINGS will take place in Khabarovsk. The discussion will be devoted to sustainable development of the Far East Federal District in the Asia-Pacific Region.

Meeting of scientific council of the Gaidar Institute dedicated to the topic “Expert/analytical support of the Government by the Gaidar Institute and RANEPA in terms of achievement of national goals and realization of national projects” took place on July 24, 2019.

Mikhail Khromov, Head of Financial Studies Department of the Gaidar Institute, took part in the round table discussion dedicated to presentation of VCIOM (Russian Public Opinion Research Center) research “Readiness of citizens to use various financial instruments in order to provide income in addition to pension.”

Irina Starodubrovskaya, Head of Center for Political Economy and Regional Development of Gaidar Institute, and Konstantin Kazenin took part in the expert discussion in the “Memorial” human right center. Meeting of experts took place on July 16 in Moscow and was dedicated to the presentation of research of federative relations in Dagestan and Tatarstan.

Natalia Kornienko, Head of Tax System Development Department of the Gaidar Institute, moderated session «Tendencies of tax legislation” at the Conference “Taxes-2019” held on June 27 in Moscow.

On the 6th of June, Stepan Zemtsov, Senior Researcher of the Gaidar Institute, moderated workshop and presented his own research “Regional entrepreneurial ecosystems in Russia” at the International Conference of Regional studies association in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

On June 16, a book “What it is worth living for. Basics of materialistic philosophy” will be presented in Kazan by its author Robert Pfaller, Professor of Philosophy, University of Applied Arts, Wien.

On June 5, 2019, VII International Forum of universities “Global competitiveness” took place in Moscow under strategic partnership of the Foundation “New Economic Education” established by the Gaidar Institute in 2000.

On May 23, Stepan Zemtsov, Senior Researcher of the Gaidar Institute, took part in the round table discussion of the RAS Institute of Economics “Future of employment: Russian agenda”.
