On 12–17 December, Scientific Director of  Gaidar Institute Sergei Drobyshevsky and leading researcher of the Center for the Study of Central Banking Studies at the RANEPA Pavel Trunin visited Beijing (People's Republic of China) to participate in the first meeting of G20 research centers 'G20 and Global Governance'.

On 21 December, Meduza.ru released the article by Head of the Center for Political Economy and Regional Development of the Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy Irina Starodubrovskaya, where the author discusses the consequences of the popularization of the clash of civilizations ideology.

On 21 December, the newspaper Vedomosti published the article written by Head of the Gaidar Institute’s Monetary Policy Department Alexandra Bozhechkova and researcher Yevgeny Goriunov, Nuzhen li nam kapital’nyi control? [Do We Really Need Capital Control?], which reviews the history of the capital control issue.

On 18 December, the newspaper Vedomosti published the article by  Gaidar Institute’s senior researcher Ivan Lyubimov, where the author looks into the causes of intellectual migration.

On 14 December, Director of  Gaidar Institute’s Structural Research Center Mikhail Khromov gave an interview to RBC TV Program Experts. Market Online, in which he analyzed the efficiency of the monetary policy instruments applied by the RF Central Bank in its attempts to achieve financial stability.

On 10 December 2015, Head of Business Surveys Laboratory Sergey Tsukhlo gave presentation titled “Successes of import substitution in Russian Industry” at 2015 North-western Economic Forum.

On 7 December 2015, website Gazeta.ru released an article by senior researcher Konstantin Kazenin where he analyses the issue of radicalization in North Caucasus.

Issue No.17 of the analytical review – The Online Monitoring of Russia’s Economic Outlook. Trends and Challenges of the Social and Economic Development – was published. The goal of the above review is to follow current trends and changes in the Russian economy.

Gaidar Institute Publishers participate in the 17th International Book Fair For High-Quality Fiction and Non-Fiction “Non/Fictio№17” which is held at the Central House of Artists (10, Krymsky val) from 25^th to 29^th of November 2015.

On 25 November, website Slon.ru released an article by Gaidar Institute researcher Evgeny Goryunov “What will happen to the ruble and how to understand the CBR strategy” dedicated to the analysis of the Guidelines for the Single State Monetary Policy of the CB of RF.

On 22 November Irina Starodubrovskaya Director of Center for Political Economy and Regional Development participated in the discussion “Clash of civilizations era: myth or reality?” which was held in the framework of the All-Russia Civil Forum.

On 11 November 2015, Sergei Tsukhlo, Head of the Business Surveys Laboratory took part in the “Demidovich. Real Economy” RBK-TV program in which the policy of import substitution was discussed.

 Gaidar Institute and the RANEPA prepared joint comments on the draft federal law on the 2016 Federal Budget submitted to the State Duma on 23 October 2015.
