NATALIA SHAGAIDA TOOK PART IN THE III EMELYANOV READINGS

On February 17, 2021, Natalia Shagaida, Head of Agrarian Department of Gaidar Institute, took part in the International scientific/practical conference “I Emelyanov readings: Agrarian policy: history, reality and prospects of development dedicated to 86 years birthday of Alexey M. Emelyanov, outstanding agrarian economist, political and public activist.

The conference brought together scientists from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Germany, Lithuania. The presentations and speeches highlighted the creative heritage of Academician Alexey M. Emelyanov, his influence on the development of agro-economic science. A fruitful discussion took place on the development of modern agriculture.

As part of the plenary session, Natalia Shagaida delivered a presentation "Agrarian structure: mimicry of organizational and legal forms and institutions" considering digitalization of the agro-industrial complex, improvement of land relations, overcoming poverty and improving the quality of life of the rural population, as well as modern trends in the development of export and export infrastructure of the Agroindustrial complex production.
