Gasan Ramazanov named sectors that use rare earth metals

The expert noted that rare earth metals are important components in various industries, including electronics, green energy, aerospace, automotive and defense. Their unique physical, chemical, magnetic and luminescent properties allow them to enhance efficiency and durability while reducing the size and weight of some electronic components and alloys. Thus, if we look at the statistics of rare earth metals consumption, it looks as follows: magnets (44%), catalysts (17%), polishing powders (11%), metallurgy (6%), glassware (6%), and ceramics (3%).
