ALEXEY VEDEV JOINED THE RAS COORDINATING RESEARCH COUNCIL ON SOCIO-ECONOMIC FORECASTING
Alexey Vedev, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Head of Financial Studies Department of the Gaidar Institute, joined the RAS Coordinating Research Council on socio-economic forecasting in accordance with theDecree of the RAS Presidium No.69 dated 29.03.2022.
The 22-member Council was established to coordinate research and expertise of draft strategic planning documents related to comprehensive analysis, assessment and forecasting of global and Russian economic development, including identification, analysis and assessment of key trends and risks, to provide support for strategic decision-making in national security and sustainable socio-economic development of the country.
The Council’s activity will be implemented in cooperation with the branches, representative offices and office of the RAS Presidium, as well as in information cooperation with public authorities, special advisory bodies of the RF Presidential Administration, including the Security Council of the Russian Federation, academic organizations and universities, expert and analytical centers of the business community, etc.
