ALEXEI VEDEV TOOK PART IN THE MEETING OF THE “ECONOMIC POLICY COMPONENTS” DEBATE CLUB
On January 19, Alexei Vedev, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Head of the Financial Studies Department of the Gaidar Institute took part in the “Economic Policy Components” Debate Club’s meeting sponsored by the Association of Independent Economic Analysis Centers (AIEAC). The meeting focused on the discussion of economic outlooks and expectations in 2023.
The year 2022 became a serious challenge to the Russian economy, however, not all “gloomy” predictions materialized. The current year has begun with something indefinite. What can we expect from 2023? Should we expect optimistic forecasts or things will go bad? During the scholarly discussion Alexei Vedev presented his economic development forecast for 2023.
