ALEXANDER KNOBEL SAYS THAT THE DECISION ON A NONMARKET NATURE OF THE RUSSIAN ECONOMY IS POLITICALLY MOTIVATED

The US has declared that they do not regard Russia as a market economy. However, this decision does not entail any catastrophic consequences for Russia, though there are some unpleasant nuances. In his interview with the Expert magazine,  Alexander Knobel, Head of the Foreign Trade Department of the Gaidar Institute, Director of the Institute of International Economics and Finances, RAFT of the RF Ministry of Economic Development told what consequences the US Department of Commerce’s decision might have for Russia.
