VI Perm economic forum «New economy and cultural policy»
on September 17-18, 2010, head of the scientific direction «Political economy and regional development of the IEP named in honor of Е.Т. Gaidar,» I.V. Starodubrovskaya, took part in the work of the sixth annual Perm economic forum «New economy and cultural policy».
The participants of the forum presented an analysis of the passage of the crisis in the Perm region, Tomsk, Tyumen, Kaliningrad, Vologda regions and the Republic of Buryatia. According to I. Starodubrovskaya, survived the crisis relatively well only those regions, where by the time of its occurrence has accumulated the experience of reform and adaptation to change. For example, in Perm Krai and Kaliningrad oblast in 2008 the authorities of the region have revised budgets in the direction of reducing costs. In the Perm territory and the Tyumen region placed great emphasis on the development of innovation in the universities.
