The Collapse of an Empire Cycle of Lectures

10 April 2012 is the start date of the Collapse of an Empire project - a cycle of lectures devoted the epoch of the fateful events that paved the way to the disintegration of the Soviet Union and the democratization of Russian society.

 

The story of how, when and under what conditions those events took place will be narrated by a number of pivotal public figures famous in the fields of politics, economics, culture and mass media.

The cycle of lectures is planned to be continued in May.
