The book called "Quantitative measure of the monetary policy of the Bank of Russia", (M: Publishing house of "Business"; Ane, 2011. 392 p.), written by the head of the scientific direction "Macroeconomics and Finance" of the Gaidar Institute, Sergey Drobishevski, has been published. Readers are invited to discover the monograph devoted to the problems of development of the monetary sphere in Russia and the monetary policy of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. The book exploits of results of more than a decade of authors working experience in the Institute.
The book addresses the following issues: analysis of money demand and the dynamics of inflation; inflation targeting: the transmission mechanisms of monetary policy in the economy; the ratio of the declared and actual objectives of the RF Central Bank policy; revealing the limits of the independence of the Bank of Russia on free movement of the fund; the choice of the optimal regime of the policy of monetary authorities in conditions of volatile oil prices on the world market.
