Kuranov Gennady O.

Worked at the Institute in 1993-1996 in the positions of department head and leading researcher.

After his departure from the Institute:

  • 1995: member of the collegiums of the Ministry of Economy of the Russian Federation;
  • 1999: 1st class actual state advisor of the Ministry of Economy of the Russian Federation;
  • 2001: member of the collegiums of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation;
  • 2005: Deputy Director of the Department of Macroeconomic Forecasting of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade;
  • 2008: Director of the General Department of Macroeconomic Forecasting of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation;
  • from 2011: lead economist of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation;

Mr. Gennady O. Kuranov died on December 23, 2025.
