On September 30, Library on Gazetny hosted a lecture on love letters of famous people. The event was conducted by Olga Perevalova, a cultural studies specialist, educator, lecturer at the Moskvich Cultural Center, and winner of the RF Ministry of Culture internship program.
The lecturer spoke about Vladimir Mayakovsky’s passionate letters to Lilya Brik, the correspondence between Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, and the story of Vera and Vladimir Nabokov.
In addition, participants were introduced to a book on the love correspondence of philosopher Martin Heidegger, published by Gaidar Institute Press.
The event was held within the program of Moscow Book Week Festival.
