At the strategic session, Irina Tolmacheva delivered a report on the legal aspects of endowment funds, in which she emphasized the importance of legal transparency in the creation and management of endowment funds. On the next day, May 20–21, the Perpetual Endowments Assembly organized by the National Endowment Association (NAE) with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation took place in St. Petersburg. As part of the event, Irina Tolmacheva together with Marina Petrova, Director of the MGIMO Endowment, held a session “Endowment. Introduction. Fundamentals of Endowments”, where the basic principles of formation and management of endowment funds, as well as their legal and regulatory framework were presented.
