Irina Starodubrovskaya spoke at Forum “Soobschestvo” in the Republic of Dagestan
Forum “Soobschestvo”, a broad-scale political event, took place in the Republic of Dagestan on the initiative of Public Chamber of Russia.
Irina Starodubrovskaya, Director of the Center for Political Economy and Regional Development of the Gaidar Institute, Federal expert on elaboration of strategy of socio-economic development of the Republic of Dagestan till 2035, spoke at the workshop: “Cross-national start-ups”: activity and self-realization”. The expert spoke about inclusion of young people to positive projects in this area. According to the speaker, it is the understanding of their significance that gives young people psychological comfort.
At present, involvement of volunteers in the republican processes is minor but a positive trend has already emerged. For example, planting trees or more frequent subbotniks, fight against drug addiction and charity. Participants of the workshop noted that idea of interethnic cooperation and friendship can be well developed through inter-municipal tourism.
About 50 delegates, experts and speakers representing different cities of Russia attended Forum “Soobschestvo”.
