Dmitry Evdokimov, Researcher at the Gaidar Institute's Laboratory for Quantitative Analysis of Economic Effects, commented for Nezavisimaya Gazeta on the government's decision to expand the list of technologies for special investment contracts (SPIC).
According to the expert, this measure works to create stable conditions for business. "Expanding the list of technologies for SPICs increases institutional predictability for investors: the ‘funnel’ of projects that can secure long-term commitments to localization, R&D, and capacity commissioning in exchange for a stable regulatory and tax regime is becoming wider. This simplifies the linking of capital-intensive projects to specific technology chains and allows the investment calendar to be synchronized with government procurement and industrial programs," explained Dmitry Evdokimov.
