During the expert discussion, Alexei Vedev touched on a wide range of issues related to the transformation of the economy and the adaptation of the business sector to new realities.
The expert noted a structural shift in the economy associated with a sharp increase in labor productivity and investment activity, which creates a foundation for long-term development. At the same time, he pointed out the need to adjust monetary policy to maintain this trend.
Particular attention was paid to foreign trade aspects in the conversation. Alexey Vedev assessed the scale of parallel imports, urging not to overestimate their impact. He also discussed in detail the changes in the structure of imports and commented on the prospects for introducing tax innovations in relation to foreign goods sold through electronic trading platforms.
The expert also analyzed the dynamics of the state share in the economy, highlighting the industries showing the greatest expansion. While acknowledging the successes in these sectors, the expert stressed the importance of maintaining ties with the global market.
