Alex Vedev took part in the Conference on Microfinance

On the 12–14 of November, 2012, head of the Laboratory for Financial Research of the Gaidar Institute, Alex Vedev, participated as the moderator of the discussion session "Issues of strategic development of microfinance” in the XI National Conference on Microfinance, which was held in Kazan (Tatarstan).

The conference was devoted to the question "Finance available to one and all: how to ensure socially responsible development of the financial system?".

The session was attended by over 500 people from Russia and other countries - representatives of microfinance institutions and credit cooperatives, banks, federal and regional authorities, international development institutions.
