Social support for vulnerable groups
The press service of the Gaidar Institute reports that in the series "Scientific Works" there was prepared a new Institute's research (№154) "Social support for vulnerable groups" (M: Publishing house of the Gaidar Institute 2011. - 92 p.). Author: S. G. Misihina.
This study seeks to compare the experience of OECD countries and Russia in such areas of social support of vulnerable population groups as the involvement of the unemployed able-bodied citizens in employment and social assistance.
The key outcome of the work was the argument that, for the effective implementation of the program of involvement for unemployed able-bodied in the employment in Russia adequate funding of the program, availability of the necessary number of vacancies, individual maintenance of the involvement of the unemployed into the employment and also the use of outsourcing and payment by results of providing services to non-working able-bodied citizens are required.
