Scientific Seminar at the Boston University

On October 7–12, employees of the Gaidar Institute’s International Department of Budget Stability Research held a scientific seminar at the Boston University on the issues of creation of general equilibrium models.

The seminar was attended by Lawrence Kotlikoff, Head of the Department, Professor of the Boston University, as well as the Department’s employees Maria Kazakova, Evgeny Goryunov, Kristina Nesterova and Andrei Zubarev.

Within the frameworks of the seminar, the participants discussed the outputs of the research – Development of the Applied Model of Evaluation of the Long-Term “Budget Gap” for the Russian Federation -- carried out by employees of the Gaidar Institute; the report on that outputs of that work is to be published by the US National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER).
