Annotation
The Russian economy is experiencing a period of profound structural transformations related to the formation of a principally new economic model. Undoubtedly, the successful continuation of reforms is linked with profound qualitative changes in the sectoral and technological structures of production initiating adequate transformations in the investment and labor potential of the Russian society. The analysis of the dynamics of general economic indicators in Russia and individual regions over the last decade was the starting point of this study.
