Meeting with the representatives of the Development Research Center of the State Council of the PRC

Gaidar Institute was represented by the director of the Center for structural research, Alexey Vedev, leading expert of the Center for structural research Mikhail Khromov, head of the laboratory of fiscal federalism, Vladimir Nazarov, head of the laboratory of monetary policy, Pavel Trunin.

The Chinese delegation of 12 experts was headed by the director of the Centre for Research and Human Resources Preparation, Jong Gyutang.

Topics of discussion were: the Russian economy in the context of the world economy, including the system of macroeconomic regulation, consultative and advisory bodies within the system of state power of the RF, models of interaction and decision-making, the consequences of the financial crisis, the state policy on environmental protection, innovative research in the field of economy, efficiency of the use of foreign experience.
