A BOOK “WHAT IT IS WORTH LIVING FOR” BY PUBLISHING HOUSE OF THE GAIDAR INSTITUTE WILL BE PRESENTED IN KAZAN

On June 16, a book “What it is worth living for. Basics of materialistic philosophy” will be presented in Kazan by its author Robert Pfaller, Professor of Philosophy, University of Applied Arts, Wien.
Modern culture blocks access to benevolence and delight and there are increasing calls to ban or regulate smoking, sex, humor or even wider range of issues that seem to be abusive for someone. At the same time, many people forget what it is worth living for. The very inability to pose such a question is an important feature of our era.

Robert Pfaller, Austrian philosopher and psychoanalyst, tried to suggest a reply to this question in his book “What it is worth living for. Basics of materialistic philosophy” and find out why this question has been forgotten to-day and what are the political consequences of such an oblivion.

Presentation will be held under support of the Publishing house of the Gaidar Institute and the Embassy of Austria in Moscow.
