Alexei Vedev Has Taken Part in the Baltic Forum
Alexei Vedev, Leading Researcher of the Gaidar Institute, Former RF Deputy Minister of Economic Development tool part in the 12th Forum of the Baltic Sea Region (the Baltic Forum).
The Forum was held at the School of Economics in the city of Turku (Finland) on March 25, 2019. The sponsor of the Forum was the Centrum Balticum Fund; the Forum’s main topic was “Future Challenges of the Baltic Sea Region”.
Alexei Vedev participated in the work of the ministerial group which discussed the ways of solution of the region’s problems. Also, the Forum dealt with such issues as the mobility of the workforce and circular economy. The opening remarks were delivered by Petteri Orpo, Finnish Minister of Finance.
