On May 28, 2021, Alexei Zamnius, Junior Researcher of the Macroeconomic Modeling of Economic Processes Department, Gaidar Institute addressed the 5th International Russia Longitudinal Monitoring Survey of HSE User Conference. The Conference was held under the auspices of the National Research University Higher School of Economics with the support of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, the “Demoscope” Research Center and the Institute of Sociology of the Federal Center of Theoretical and Applied Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences and organized within the framework of the grant provided by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

Stepan Zemtsov, Senior Researcher of the Innovation-Driven Economy Department, Gaidar Institute took part in the 2021 RSAI World Congress held in the online mode on May 25, 2021.

The presentation of the two latest issues (No.53-54 and No.55) of the Vestnik Evropy magazine was held in the online mode because of the coronavirus pandemic. On February 17, 2021, Natalia Shagaida, Head of Agrarian Department of Gaidar Institute, took part in the International scientific/practical conference “I Emelyanov readings: Agrarian policy: history, reality and prospects of development dedicated to 86 years birthday of Alexey M. Emelyanov, outstanding agrarian economist, political and public activist.

On February 9, Natalia Kornienko, Head of the Tax System Development Department, Gaidar Institute took part in the online seminar on tax control in 2021. The seminar was sponsored by the Segodnya Conference Center.

On February 3, Natalia Shagaida, Head of Agrarian Department of the Gaidar Institute, took part in the round table discussion on the subject: “Agrarian export: domestic market and export development” organized by the Center for Strategic Research (CSR).
