IRINA TOLMACHEVA ADDRESSED THE VIII ACADEMIC FUNDRASING FORUM
Irina Tolmacheva, Head of the Legal Department at the Gaidar Institute, took part in the VIII Academic Fundraising Forum “Fundraising in the changing world: diversification of sources and approaches” held on November 24–25 in the Urals Federal University supported by National Endowment Association.
Irina Tolmacheva spoke at the session “State priorities in the development of endowments and extra-budgetary funding of universities”, where she highlighted the results of her subgroup “Legislation and rulemaking” of the Interdepartmental Working Group of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Participants discussed the need for state support for the development of fundraising and endowments.
The Forum is held annually sinсe 2015 and it is considered as the communication platform for exchange of views, experience in fundraising, strengthening of professional contacts as well as for discussing issues, trends and effective strategies for attracting extra-budgetary resources, including for educational institutions.
