ALEXEY VEDEV JOINED THE PUBLIC BOARD OF ROSSTAT

On September 28, 2023,Alexey Vedev, Doctor of Economics, Head of the Financial Studies Department at the Gaidar Institute, joined the Public Council of the Federal State Statistics Service.

The Public Council under the Federal State Statistics Service is a permanent advisory and advisory body designed to exercise public control over the activities of Rosstat. Its work is aimed at ensuring that the needs and interests of citizens of the Russian Federation are taken into account, the protection of their rights and freedoms, as well as the rights of public associations in the implementation of state policy insofar as it relates to the scope of activity of the Federal State Statistics Service.
