Results of the 2008 Diploma Theses Competition

Having considered all diploma theses, the Commission ruled not to award the First Prize. Two second prizes go to Ms. Elena Polyashova, graduate from Vologda State Technical University, for the diploma thesis “The food security of Vologda Oblast” and Mr. Andrey Vavilov, graduate from Kazan Institute of Economics and Law, for the diploma thesis “Evaluation of efficiency of corporate mergers and acquisitions (exemplified by OAO “Khimprom” and OAO ‘Tasma”).

The third prizes go to Mr. Alexey Shemlev, graduate from the Southern Federal University, for the diploma thesis “Super concentration of corporate property as an objective prerequisite of corporate conflicts” and Mr. Denis Subbotnitsky, graduate from St. Petersburg State University, for the diploma thesis “Evaluation of variants of the dynamic of indicators of the 1998 market for the Russian GKO”.
