The book is devoted to the study of crises in recent (post-Communist) Russian history. These include transformational, macroeconomic, structural, and revolutionary crises, as well as crises of external shocks. Special attention is paid to the problems of the current global crisis and the peculiarities of its development in Russian conditions. The current global crisis is creating a so-called new reality. Its origins, features and possible consequences are explored in this monograph, taking into account the experience of major crises of the last hundred years. These are the systemic crises of the 1930s and 1970s, and the crises of the last thirty years that took place in Russia.
