Direct investment outlow from Russia: essays of the theory and practice

The IEР's press-office informs of a new work entitled “Direct investment outlow from Russia: essays of the theory and practice” by Alexander Pakhomov was published under the series “Research Papers” (No. 163).

From the middle of the past decade a relatively new phenomenon – a largescale direct investment outflow (which amount is comparable to FDI inflow to Russia) – is observed in the Russian economy and those investments mainly go to M&A abroad. Special attention is paid to an analysis of theoretical aspects of FDI outflow and practical issues of entrepreneurial activity of the Russian business abroad in the post crisis period.
