THE ONLINE PRESENTATION OF THE VESTNIK EVROPY MAGAZINE (ISSUE No. 52-53) WILL BE HELD ON DECEMBER 3, 2020

An online event dedicated to the presentation of the double issue of the “Vestnik Evropy” magazine founded by the Gaidar Institute will be held at 19:00 on December 3, 2020.

The current issue of the magazine deals with the emigration into the past and the topic which is in the focus of the global community, that is, the pandemic.

The issue includes articles on politics and history and a large corpus of literary texts: plays by Elfriede Jelinek, stories by Alexei Salnikov and Maxim Zhigalin, essays by Mikhail Yanpolsky, Katya Margolis, Lev Rubenshtein, Olga Medvedkova and Vadim Olshevsky, an expert opinion by professor Medushevsky on “a constitutional coup”, articles by political scientist Vassily Zharkov, historians Alexander Yanov and Kirill Soloviyev, economist Andrei Nechayev, an articles by Vadim Rutkovsky on the theatre of Boris Yukhananov, an article by Natalia Isayeva on the online European drama, an article by Vladimir Kolyazin on the phenomenon of Jelinek, poetry on the topic of this issue and poems by Yehuda Amichai, an Israeli great poet in translation by Alexander Barash and other.
